Note that that price range is for the first-edition hardcover, from Steeldragon Press. It's a very nice package (we have I think three of them in the house here at the moment). It's illustrated by Kathy Marschall (whose name bears some resemblance to the name of a fictional artist mentioned in the Dragaera books...), and they're all signed. (One interesting aspect of Steven's signature is that it's so illegible to begin with that the difference from the start to the end of the print run isn't as great as one might expect.) I'll bet the Ace paperback is much cheaper. And of course it's currently in print from, I think, Orb (Tor's keep-stuff-in-print line), so you don't need to pay the $500 unless you're a collector. -- David Dyer-Bennet, dd-b at dd-b.net / New TMDA anti-spam in test John Dyer-Bennet 1915-2002 Memorial Site http://john.dyer-bennet.net Book log: http://www.dd-b.net/dd-b/Ouroboros/booknotes/ New Dragaera mailing list, see http://dragaera.info
