I ran two fan run conventions here in Massachusetts in the 80's and they 
are fun when money isn't an issue. I never made a dime on the convention 
I ran (we usually broke even) but the fun made it all worthwhile.

I'd do it again any day. Anybody want to start a Stevecon or a 
Vladcon? :-)
