I don't know about the rest of your request, but I suspect you will have much difficulty convincing our Estimable Author to create anything resembling a reliable narrator. He seems to have far too much fun playing with different sources of unreliability. In any event, although I certainly recognize that this is not a democracy (and would not want it to be one), I cast my nonexistent vote for more Paarfi, not less. In fact, considering how well-known Vlad has become, or is likely about to become, after the events in _Phoenix_ and _Issola_, I think he runs every risk of having romances written about him.
