I do not have anything that detects and removes duplicates at this end. For this "this", I hit reply-to-all, and in addition to the list address, your address and Iain's were added. I have received several like that, also, but I still only receive two copies when I am one of the people in addition to the list address. What I normally do is just hit reply, double click on the TO address, which selects it, and type in my short nickname for the address book entry that contains the list address. I find that easier and more satisfactory. What I occasionally do is forget and just send it to one person, which would have been you in this case. But there's nothing particularly wrong with the two emails if they're short - delete is easy. If they are long, multiple copies are a hardship on those with slow connections. Richard
