Well, ok.   At the same time, I've read Lovecraft (love 'em!)
and his Notes on Writing Weird Fiction, and aside from some
few-and-far-between, I haven't read any writer that comes close.
(The one I'm think of who might is Thomas Ligotti, and he's
"different"...)

But then, that's natural, when one thinks about it.  It's hard
to imitate an artist of any kind perfectly.

Oh, quite.  Never in doubt.  Besides, who'd want to write
like Paarfi?  SO says she can't get the sound of John Cleese
out of her mind while reading Paarfi.  (Now try and get THAT
image out!!;)

Come on... Monty Python and Dragaera?... Who'da thunk it?!?
