No way was it coincidence. Even if it was, I'm sure you can work it out so it wasn't. I'm having too much fun figuring out how Orlaan either managed to have an Athyra son who managed to hide his cross-breed origins from his house, or how Orlaan got herself turned into Loraan, and managed to fool the Athyra. Her search for Aliera's soul confirmed to me the existance of a relationship between Orlaan and Loraan. Something I've wondered about Loraan, ever since we found out that if someone gets killed before the gods are finished with them, the gods might send them back as undead. Since Loraan is undead, some god (Verra's sister?) must be really pissed off at Vlad right about now. Unless there is more than one way to get undead. Rachel
