A couple of months back, I stumbled across various artists' interpretations of people and animals of Dragaera (see archives for October 2002, subject titled "Pictures". One of these, Kathy Grantham (nee Marschall, aka Kathana e'Marish'Chala), perhaps motivated by our finding her, has posted some art she did of the creatures of the Dragaeran Cycle. http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/k/a/kathyg/issola.jpg.html http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/k/a/kathyg/jhereg.jpg.html http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/k/a/kathyg/orca.jpg.html http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/k/a/kathyg/tiassa.jpg.html The jhereg looks like she was trying harder to draw SKZB's description ("two legs, is smaller, smoother, his head is more snakelike, and his wings more batlike"). That orca looks *damn* scary, I must say! Wouldn't want to be in the water with one of *those* around. But I'm not sure they're supposed to be quite that nasty.
