So there's plenty of room to bring the Paarfi > novels _beyond_ Vlad's lifetime. Yeah, well I've got a sneaking suspicion about 'Great weapons' and how they affect a persons lifespan (because of the connection to the soul, and if I'm not mistaken all Undead means is a dead body with an active soul), that is the only person whom I can see reference to having died - from being killed - is Kieron, Sethra is 'Special' I'll admit but she is both a weilder of a Great weapon and has not died from 'natural' causes (to my knowledge), she is however now Undead. Aliera and Morrolan are both living and both weilders of Great weapons and both decently young so to see if 'natural' causes is something to be seen, Vlad now carries a Great weapon, but in all reality he will die well before 'natural causes' get a chance to set in at the rate he goes - even if it's only 30-40 years off for 'natural' causes to set in. What I want to know is if any other weilders of Great weapons are either Undead or older than a natural lifespan not being Undead, or if all weilders of Great weapons that are older than 'normal' are Undead (having first had the Great weapon before Undeath) *natural causes* = old age when the body fails. > > Frankly I'm expecting to see Khaavren, at least, kick off at the end, > and will probably be disappointed if he doesn't. > > I'm also curious about where Srahi is. > > > ---- > The time for action is past-- now is the time for senseless bickering! > --Ashleigh Brilliant
