#About Ibronka being Sennya's only daughter, one reference I was thinking of is
#on page 231: "How Ibronka, Only Daughter of Her Highness Sennya..." However, in
#checking it, I found what might be taken as confirmation of this relationship
#between Grita and Sennya, and of her opinion that Grita is dead, on page 154
#(Sennya's thoughts): "Perhaps the gods have forgiven me my lapse, for they have
#graced me with a daughter to make up for -- well, for the one who is lost."

Not necessarily that she thinks Grita is dead, but that she treats her
as such: perhaps not just as a half-breed, but for her rebellion against
the Empire and the way that Greycat used her (Grita) against her
(Sennya) and turned her against her.

It reminds me of the way that some orthodox Jews mourn as dead a child
who has converted to another religion. (I find the practice hateful, in
more sense than one, but that's neither here nor there.)
