I like the points that O'Reilly makes in his article. As a published, first time author, I can look forward to a life of small sales and obscurity. Of course I didn't do it for the money, I did because it was fun. I would like everyone to buy my book. Heck, I'll even sell it to you one dirt cheap (email me directly for details), I write so others can read. if someone steals my book off the shelf, thats bad, but if this person that passes it around, maybe it will generate enough interest so that my second book will allow me to relocate to las vegas, just like Steve :-). But I don't count on it. Life as a first time author is tough. I don't condone theft in any form but I have better things to worry about, like making sure my book stays in the public eye. --- "I won't eat anything I can't pronounce."---overheard in class
