OTOH, that may (or may not) have been a fan's > comment on this or another list, rather than textev; I'm AFB. What I remember from reading Issola is that the Great Weapons were more or less designed by the Jenoine in order to be able to kill the Gods, but they also have the effect of being able to kill the Jenoine. So, theoretically, any Great Weapon, can kill a God or Jenoine (but I still don't think its easy with them.. although maybe its easier with Iceflame and Godslayer). Of course, given that any Great Weapon is capable of slaying a god, it does make you wonder how Godslayer got its name. I'd guess based on the name, and the fact that Spellbreaker is part of it, that Godslayer being specially created to tear through the Jenoine's defenses was probablly just a fan's thoughts on the matter. However, I do wonder if Godslayer now has Spellbreaker's properties.. (ie, he can still hit someone with the sword, no matter what protective spells they have up, and he can also break other spells [including ones on himself] with it.) Jag
