Initially I wrote "Son of a bi....um...I mean..." but that doesn't get the emphasis, and my concern with "son of a bi..!" (or --) was that it leads to the assumption that only two letters follow, where if you use 3 ...'s (elipses), people assume you're being politically correct, which is also not correct.
