I've actually challenged people to tell the difference between well-made 
SVCDs and DVDs, and it comes out around 50-50 :-P  But as with all encoded 
video formats (DivX included), it depends greatly on the person doing the 
capturing.  If you got a copy made from a $20 capture card on a 200mhz PC, 
it'll suck SVCD *OR* DivX.
