On NPR the other night it was said that Til Tuesday, which has sold a million copies of their first record (with "Voices Carry") and perhaps a million of the subsequent ones, is told by their record company that sales have not yet recouped the company's marketing, so the band hasn't received any payment (beyond I assume whatever advance they received.)
