On a similar subject, doubtless someone's brought this up before, but: 1. There are remarkable similarities between the descriptions of cacoastrum and amorphia, and 'using one's own illiaster' smacks of pre-Empire sorcery. 2. If you're outside the known universe you've probably got a wildly different perspective on 'space'... Angels as Jenoine? Just barely possible.
