I used to say, "I read fiction because if I wanted real life then
I would watch the news." *shakes head* Now it is the other way
around.  A sad and true dipiction of todays "scare 'em now and
report later" media styles that I deplore because the number of
people viewing is FAR more important than what is being reported.

Reporting for media share sucks.

There is more wisdom and truth in written fiction than in all
TV reporting combined.

Come to think of it, BUFFY TVS has more too.
