Actually, not likely at all because Aliera was just a soul in a staff 
at that time, until Vlad & Morrolan convinced Verra to save her 
daughter. It is actually possible that Kieron came out of the Paths of 
the Dead to reclaim his greatsword (as he said he would, and seemed to 
be the motivation for Aliera to give said greatsword to Sethra the 
Younger) & also came to father Devera (no pun intended)... We just 
don't know that story, yet.
