http://www.biopark.org/lizards.html says that Gila monsters spend 98% of
their lives asleep.  Check out the bunny btw (the Gila "is a predatory
scavenger specializing in the eggs and helpless young of reptiles, birds,
and small mammals." - i.e., "we eat the helpless" for Angel fans).

Interesting that there are plenty of poisonous snakes but only two
lizards...
