That's probably Eleftheropoulos, meaning "son of Eleutherios", where
"eleutheria" means "freedom" and "poulos" is, I think, derived from
Latin. There are many modern greek last names like this, and some are
even longer (e.g. Papadimitrakopoulos, Chatzikonstantinidis, etc.).

ObDragaera: I don't recall any greek Easterner names...
