Looking over the Vlad novels, I don't see any references to street names in the format "The Street of the <House>." At a guess, I'd say since the Palace was built in an existing city here, there are no planned House streets, which shoots my "the Street of the Phoenix points to the Lesser Sea of Chaos" theory. Without that, I don't know why the House of the Phoenix is aligned the way it appears to be. This entire deduction is based on two passages by Paarfi, and if he made even one little mistake (north instead of south, left instead of right), that throws the whole thing out.
