I can live with that. > > -- > David Goldfarb <*>|"We demand rigidly defined areas of doubt and its not a lot of fun to be honest, that sickly feeling you get your stomach when you are playing on air out of sheer desperation isn't my idea of fun. one of the reasons i got back into college and tried to get a real job/life. a few of my friends tried to be road players (pool btw, not a travelling poker show) at various periods in their lives. a couple had the actual talent to do it (being able to actually play fairly well, but being better at making games), but didn't really have the nerves or the will to live in semi abject poverty for the next upteen number of years. that and risking getting shot/stabbed/beaten/robbed every time you go to work (so to speak) kinda wears on a person. i do happen to be acquainted with a couple of very good pool hustlers. both have the avarice and relative lack of conscience that would make them very good jhereg. andy
