I'd love this too, though I actually rather enjoy the way he doesn't describe them. It feels more immersive - it's natural for Paarfi or Vlad to skip descriptions of things that are just assumed in their world. I always find it odd when a first person story has descriptions of things that should just be understood. http://www.crowfire.com/books/skzb/dragaera_animals.shtml has descriptions of some of the animals in the cycle. > For example, what kind of animal > is a kethna? I'm AFB, but I seem to remember that the Society of the Porker Poker was founded after an incident with one, the description of which, together with the resulting name is yet more reason to think "pig".
