He captured the breakup of a relationship perfectly; reading _Teckla_ gives me flashbacks to my divorce. I didn't mind the politics at all. I'm a socialist, but I thought Kelly was ruthlessly idealistic and failed to see the reality of the situation. The Empire just wasn't ready for that revolution, so it couldn't work.
