He was uncaring of the deaths that had occurred among his own compatriots. He appeared to care for nothing excepting his own goals, which happened to coincide with those of his movement. In fact, he seemed to be nothing but, at heart, a Jhereg. The difference being that a Jhereg, at least, is honest about his dishonesty.
