I'm not even as far as you. I gave Dune three strikes to get me past 
page 100. It's out.
'Course I'm more philistine than most here, I'll bet. Lord of the Rings 
struck out, too.
I don't even know how Return of the King ends (though I have a sneaking 
suspicion
a monarch is involved).- I'm hoping to rent the DVD Real Soon Now (Yeah 
yeah, I'm
sad I missed it in the theater, but it was not to be). No spoilers!

There's just too much out there that makes me unaware I'm even turning 
pages to
bother with stories that present that kind of inertia on startup. Case 
in point with
the works this list focuses on. Even Paarfi's accounts.
