If the act of theft occured, then yes, you would have to conclude that Kiera and Sethra are no more than casual acquaintances. Is the claim credible? No...Is it possible the theft occurred at all? No...Therefore, if there is a way to prove Kiera and Sethra are no more than casual acquaintances it is NOT because of a purported theft from Sethra.
