True, I am not implying anything regarding the morality of using those
weapons. I would have done the same, if I was in that position. What the
Japanese did to any area of occupied Asia was horrifying, regardless of
their treatment of POW's. But good old Iosif Dzhugashvili  killed at least
20 million of his own people and we left him alone. I still wonder what the
world would have been like if we had let Patton have his way and continue
his drive north east.
