I think "yous" or "youse" or however you like to spell it is just a plural of "you". It means the same as "y'all" (a better spelling than "ya'll", in my opinion) in parts of the South, and "youns" or "yinz" or however you spell it in Pittsburgh and some other areas. "Youns" is for "you ones". I don't think any of these have to do with "young". However, "young 'uns" is for "young ones", and your family seems to have altered that a bit.
