I don't necessarily buy all three books of a series at the same store.
What was interesting was when I went to a remains book store and noticed
some Brust books - parts of this series in different parts of the store.
Didn't find the whole series though. It has to be tough selling hardbound
books that are part of a series - most people don't want to buy part 2 of 3
in hardbound unless they already have part 1 in hardbound.

I will buy books and wait until I have all three to buy. One time I didn't
do so, I ended up with an unmatched pair of The Wizard Knight. I don't buy
all of Gene Wolfe's books, even with Steven's blurbs on the cover. But
when the paperback of The Knight came out, but the paperback of The Wizard
was not yet out, I bought the mismatched pair.
