Remember, he didn't have a GW for what, almost 2 years? Plus he is an Easterner, and in their segregated society just about the lowest rung of the ladder. What would happen if in the South (prior to the Civil War) a black man complained to the Federal government about a major southern landholder, and made it stick. If he ever went back, how long would he last? Days, maybe? Sam situation here. From the Jhereg point of view, he must die by their hand. Look how annoyed their where over Easterner education. Besides, if they talk him for a walk now that he does have a GW, what kind of mileage could they get out of that? Their big problem will be getting someone competent to do the job now. Jeff
