I'd guess that "into the jungle" refers to someone who goes into the heart of the uncharted jungle, with the intention of either staying there permanently or looking for a mythical treasure that'll more likely wind up with you never coming out again. Maybe it's one of those "easter egg" references that's just so obscure that nobody has ever gotten it. *heh* I know I never would have caught the Shakespeare one that someone posted on the list about a while back. I've pretty much just caught the obvious ones: The Zork references in Taltos and the Monty Python and the Holy Grail reference in Yendi. I suspect there are many others.
