Hi, The paperback Year's Best Fantasy 5 is available for pre-ordering. Heh...what does that have to do with Steven Brust?? Steve is not mentioned on the front cover. But, http://www.kathryncramer.com/kathryn_cramer/books/ under Year's Best Fantasy 5 Table of Contents says Steven Brust "The Man from Shemhaza" (Thieves' World: Enemies of Fortune) www.bn.com Year's Best Fantasy 5 says being published June 28, 2005. Amazon.com says July 1, 2005. Thieves' World: Enemies of Fortune still available only in hardback. Now that Sethra Lavode is out in paperback, I wonder when Sethra Lavode (hardback version) will be going out of print and the books sold as Remainders and have black permanent marker dots put on them (Auggh! Does this bother anyone else?) . From what I read, the Author does not get any payment for Remainders. So...if your local libraries have The Paths of the Dead and/or Lord of Castle Black in hardback, it is not too late to suggest that they get a copy of Sethra Lavode hardback. Except the other books are Sanctuary by Lynn Abbey, and Thieves' World: Turning Points edited by Lynn Abbey. No Steven Brust short story in the other two, but if a library has one or the other, they might be more likely to purchase Enemies. Hopefully, there will be future Thieves' World books--otherwise we may never know what would have happened to The Man from Shemhaza. Bye. Linda G.
