Thanks, although reading ahead, it appears I'm not the first to notice
this.  At least it doesn't appear I missed something that was obvious.

Have you seen the Jokes & Allusions page on Mark's site,

Actually, Sticks also provides an address for Tomas, Oscar and Ramon,
but I didn't include it since it appeared to actually be plot-related,
and not just a hint.

I had the same thought you had, and the same luck:  For one thing, a
lot of these publishers have been bought up since 1990, and the
current mailing addresses are almost certainly not the same anymore
(Ballantine, Dell, Bantam, I think all of those got bought up by
Random House alone).
