>Vlad has talked with the dead - of course he was in >their territory, and it appeared that time didn't work the >same way as it does back home. Harumph. Well, if your question is really "Will the Lords of Judgement honor a subpoena requiring a given soul to appear before the Imperial Court at thus and such a date and time?" then I'd say it's a resounding "No." Heck, there's no guarantee that the soul in question would even be in the Halls of Judgement. Timestream fluctuations aside, the soul might have reincarnated or succumbed to the hazards of the Paths without ever reaching the Halls. The only way to be sure of reaching the soul would be to awaken it during the three days post-death when it's still bound to its body. Like I said, if that were easy enough for it to be part of normal legal procedings then there'd be more professional necromancers in the world.
