Whether it's supposed to imply going native or mixing races, or even a bit of lunacy (going crazy and setting off into the jungle outside the city), I think we're just _supposed_ to get the gist, not translate directly into an idiom of our own culture. I can't see it referring to inferiors or natives the way our phrase seems to do, since Kiera would probably consider herself superior, and neither of their species is native, but the flavour comes through anyway. I like the Jethro Tull supposition. I've always admired his music. And agricultural innovations. Shawn, newly relocated, never duplicated (except briefly when he had two dragaera.info accounts going at the same time).
