This is true.
If it's rude (like, say, revealing what's up with Agyar), it's a
spoiler.
If a reasonable person would consider it a spoiler, it's a spoiler.

I've accidentally spoiled Agyar (in person) and been justly chastised
about it.

Of course. A lot of this is context -- given the nature of this list,
you need to reveal a lot more about Dragaera for it to be a spoiler
([orca], yes, or even some of the eventsi n Isola...but still, more).
OTOH, one need not have an aquaintence with Agyar to participate
meaningfully on this list, so it's polite to be forbearing on that
subject.
