I heard a rumor that Steve won the name "Corwin" off of Roger Zelazny during a huge cross-Shadow Poker game. You haven't played Poker until the cards start changing shapes and sizes and colors (not to mention suits and ranks) under your very hands. One of Roger's cards turned into thin painted glass, which shattered when he gripped it too hard. There was a big argument on how to deal with that, which nearly... but I talk too much.
