Ladies and gentlemen, we have a domain name:

www.dragaera-rpg.com

The website is NOT THERE yet (so don't go copying and pasting that sucker
just yet). Someone on the list had made an offer to possibly help with
hosting. If you are still interested, please contact me. If I don't hear
>from you (no worries - it's entirely up to you), I'm going to go with
F5hosting.com - I have a number of friends who highly recommend them.

I have found a shareware program that will handle all of the "restricted
access" details: if you'd like to check it out:

http://cgi.elitehost.com/ At the bottom is a "Quick Find" - select the
Account Manager LITE option in the Shareware drop-down menu, and click Go.

I've also found a good free message board software. Again, if you'd like to
check it out: http://www.phpbb.com/

I really am trying to get this thing up quickly so we can at least start
discussing the information I have in there already, and can start tweaking
it, adding to it, etc. My priorities are:

1. Get a little more info on the site (Skills, a little more on the magic)
2. Get the website up
3. Get the Account Manager Lite software working
4. Get the message board working

4 is way low on the list, and since we do have this mailing list, it's
possible it may get pushed further down.

Guys/Gals, I know a fair amount about creating websites in terms of using
FrontPage and Dreamweaver (our site is being built in Dreamweaver) but I know
very little about these other types of applications, and given that all of
the sites I have created have been done with a special intranet connection to
a web server (thus eliminating the need to deal with web hosting services)
and have had no need for these supplemental items, and
help/advice/knowledge/expertise any of you have is greatly appreciated and
needed.

I know I jumped right up and asked about RPGing, but I would like to see us
approach this as more of a team - I'd like to put everyone's name on the
website giving credit wherever credit is due (content development,
brainstorming, website development, graphics, flash, character templates,
etc)
