That seems a tad too fast (not reading-wise, but discussion-wise) to me;
also I would imagine we'd want to plan it so that we finish FHYA in
November, to coincide with the publication of Paths of the Dead (which is
listed as a November release at Locus).
With that in mind, I'd suggest 3 chapters a week. That takes us through
September to finish TPG, and through late November to finish FHYA, giving
those of us with busy schedules a little time to read PotD before embarking
on a readalong of that. I can type up what I figured out, but basically
it's like this:
June 17-23: The Phoenix Guards Preface & Chapters 1 & 2
June 24-30: TPG Chapters 3, 4, 5
July 1-7: TPG Chapters 6, 7, 8
(you get the idea)
Sept 2-8: TPG Chapters 33, 34 & Conclusion & Epilogue
Sept 9-15: Five Hundred Years After, Preface & Chapters 1 & 2
(still the same idea)
Nov 25-Dec 1: FHYA Chapters 33, 34 & Conclusion
I suppose we could increase it to 4 chapters a week if people really want
to finish the discussion before November, but I'd have to recalculate to
see when we'd end up with that schedule.
Anyway, just my idea, feel free to adopt if it suits! :)
