Well, it's always orange, day or night (except in the rare case where
said orange clears, I guess). And that orange is apparently lit, and
therefore visible, even in night.

That may be how the elves think about it.
OTOH, Fenarians and other eastern realms probably think of it as
perpetual twilight -- it's never as bright as full day, or as dark as
full night, with that eerie orange glow all the time.
