Bah! I was the DM! There was no rules-mongering! I watched a player to that in somebody else's game once, read, then re-read, then re-re-read the rules and decided that it *was* legal... It was hard to set up mind you, it generally had to be a stone wall of decent thickness, and the whole angle on incidence = the angle of refraction thing came into play... But when it succeeded.... SNAP! CRACKLE! POP! It's a bit of shock when you're not expecting it... ObD- I have seen it written that Dragerea had it's start in a RP campaign. Has St. Brust ever confirmed or denied this?
