Champions is good, except it can be VERY number-crunching intensive.  GURPS 
has the same kind of flexibility, and it's got a heck of a lot less 
number-crunching and calculating.  I've played both systems and while I like 
Champions, I prefer GURPS simply because it's less complicated for new 
players to RPGs.  Those who are more experienced with RPGs in general have 
less trouble adapting to Champions.
