When Roanna (whose name is misspelled in the cast list) was introduced, I immediately realised her obvious role just from her age, gender, and most importantly, her House. And she and Daro also find it somewhat obvious. But this is a Brust book.... I really really liked the choice she made, especially if its binding on Ibronka as well :) > I suspect Ibronka & Sh...I can't remember his name. I have no idea what's going to happen to her, especially if she gets the love and contentment. Have we seen any other young male Dzurlords? I found it very significant that she could use the Orb to find people, since Tortaalik couldn't find Garland in TPG. And did the gods fiddle with the Orb or not? Lots of folk in Vlad's time think so, but Verra doesn't. And if Verra -IS- Magic, then why would Nyssa be the one improve the Orb? And boy are those gods bad at giving explanantions, even to each other. --KG
