Well, yeah she's a witch, but much more importantly she's a priestess to the Demon Goddess [Jot] > Witch (pun intended) brings me to my latest speculative theory, which > I will preface with a small math lesson: > > 1 point defines a point > 2 points defines a line > 3 points defines a plane > 4 points can define a space > > Given this, and that we have precisely one point of reference > for the creation of Great Weapons, I'm going to ignore the > math lesson. :) > > My theory is that Blackwand will be created with the 'essence' of > Arra, like Godslayer was created with the essence of Teldra. (Jhereg, I believe) Although, the way Paarfi puts it, in PotD Morollan says that Verra is his familiar. Of course, Paarfi has proved quite unreliable so far in regard to Morollan, and this would not actually stretch that distinction so far. And I think that in the passage that you describe, Blackwand is being compared more to a wizard's staff than a witch's familiar, but to the extent that the two have similar purposes, or could be combined, you seem to have hit on something. Nice work. > 4) We know Blackwand is female (Issola) > > The cool thing is I expect to find out one way or another in about > 9 months. :) > > -Jot Hear, Hear! Woo hoo!
