Nice work. In whichever book Morrolan mentions Blackwand being his familiar, he is talking to Vlad about witchcraft, so it has nothing to do with being a wizard's staff. We also happen to know from Issola that Morrolan has a wizard's wand that is different from Blackwand. Jag
