Well, I agree that most movies based on books are as pale and lifeless as a corpse dead three days (no chance of revivification). Therefore, i don't necessarily think a jhereg movie would be a good idea. But neither am i completely opposed to it. I think that a tasteful amount of inner dialogue might be able to be done as narration, and another amount inserted in the form of conversations with cawti, Kragar, Aliera or Morrolan in some cases- Vlad can be quite expository in dialogue now and then, especially when he's figuring things out, so it wouldn't be too jarring. Between all that, very little would need to be excised. I also agree that the 'Ghost in the Shell' approach to psionics could work nicely.
