Brust books you didn't like (was: Where did you begin?)

There's a reason for this, at least as regards Feng's -- it's not 
one of his better works. ;)  That and To Reign In Hell both had 
significant problems.

I had trouble with Freedom and Necessity as well, but mainly 
because the random politics disagree with me and the way the book 
was framed was really thoroughly annoying.  F&N had real quality 
there, just not the sort of quality I tend to enjoy.
