I didn't enjoy Cowboy Feng's (in fact, it's the only Brust novel I
haven't enjoyed) -- I found it very slow-paced, compared to pretty
much anything else he's written.
I may re-read it at some point, to see if it's improved with age.

I actually enjoyed TRiH...but a _lot_ of my friends consider it
turgid, and should read it at some point to see if it's gotten worse
with age (I suspect so).
