Could it have been "Camp coffee""?  There is a brand of coffee syrup
called Camp.  During the hottest days of the summer, a tablespoon of the
syrup in a tall glass of milk over ice cubes makes a wonderfully
refreshing drink.  I suppose you could put it into hot milk instead.
