[Huge implied spoiler for Orca] Which ties into the "Dzur Mountain is (or contains) a storage device" theory. Which might be another explanation for that strange time-gap thing, by the way - Kiera's diary is kept separate from Sethra's diary. I have the notion that after leaving Stony's, Sethra went and did something based on what Kiera found out (that took nearly a full day [1])... but that goes in Sethra's storage area. [1] Perhaps she went and notified the Lords of Judgment about the dangerous financial crisis? Perhaps the gods can bail out the Bank of the Empire. :-)
